La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian
organization dedicated to providing education, information, support,
and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. Each of our Groups
meets monthly. All breastfeeding mothers and pregnant women interested
in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our free meetings or call our
Leaders for breastfeeding help.
La Leche League of the Palos Verdes Peninsula and Neighbors Chapter offers support and information through:
- Mother-to-Mother support
- Monthly meetings
- Telephone help from accredited Leaders
- Lending library with books on childbirth, breastfeeding and related subjects
- Sales of The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding, or other items
All
breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are
welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for
breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our
meetings.

Membership
Membership dues are $40 annually, and include a one-year subscription to the NEW BEGINNINGS bi-monthly journal for breastfeeding mothers.

| Redondo Beach | We are now meeting at Beach Cities Health District located at 514 Prospect Avenue between Diamond and Beryl streets. We will be meeting downstairs in the meeting rooms. Our daytime meeting meets on the second Friday of every month at 10am. Our evening meeting is on the third Tuesday of every month at 7pm. We have a park day on Fridays that we don't have meetings at Valley Park in Hermosa Beach. We meet there around 10am.
